This Rubber-Mount Quickbob Gas Tank fits 1986-2003 Harley-Davidson Sportster models and has a 3.6 Gallon capacity. Available in raw steel these tanks feature a larger capacity than stock tanks and accept a stock-style 22mm H-D style petcock and thread-in Harley-Davidson style gas caps (sold separately). - When this gas tank is installed on ’92 and later models and the OEM continuous venting system is eliminated or disconnected, you may not reuse your stock vented cap, but may replace it with an ’84-E’96 version of the screw-type caps.

Note: It is highly recommended to fit your gas tank to your bike before painting. Check for clearance or mounting issues as different combinations of triple trees, risers, and handlebars may cause clearance issues when turning. Tanks are pressure tested but it is highly recommended that you or your painter pressure test it again before painting; it’s cheap insurance!
