These carburetors, also known as PWK or Keihin carburetors, are expertly adapted by JRC Engineering specifically for British motorcycles.
Jetting Information:
Your JRC Carburetor will arrive with the following jets pre-installed:
- Main Jet: 125 (T120/T140 twin-carb 650/750 models use a 130 main jet)
- Pilot Jet: #38 (T120/T140 twin-carb 650/750 models use a 35 pilot jet)
An additional jet kit is included, containing:
- Main Jets: 130 and 140 (TR6/TR7 single-carb 650/750 models use a 140 main jet)
- Pilot Jet: #35 (TR6/TR7 single-carb 650/750 models use a 38 pilot jet)
Recommended Jetting:
These are general recommendations; you may need to use different jets based on your specific bike:
- Twin Carburetor Models (e.g., Triumph Bonneville, BSA A65): Use a P26-130 main jet (comparable to an Amal 190).
- Single Carburetor Models (e.g., Triumph TR6 Tiger, BSA B40, B50): Use a P26-140 main jet (comparable to an Amal 230).
